Douklar
Douklar is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later (AGPL-3.0-or-later). The AGPL means that anyone who runs a modified Douklar as a network service must offer its source to that service's users.
The source repository is not public yet; it is being prepared for an open source preview.
Internal test phase
Douklar is in an internal test phase. The licence on this page applies today and can change before Douklar is published publicly; this page names the licence Douklar is published under when that happens. Until then this website is an introduction to Douklar, and its documentation is published for internal testers.
Commercial licence
To rebrand, white-label, resell to enterprises, provide commercial hosting under a Douklar-derived name, or otherwise use Douklar outside the terms of the AGPL, a written commercial licence is available on request. Write to douklar@hummatovic.com. Nothing is sold through this website.
Contributions
Contributions to Douklar are accepted under a Contributor License Agreement.

Legal notice
Effective 23 October 2026.
1. Operator. This website is operated by Nijat Hummatović, a natural person based in Italy, acting in a private capacity and not in the course of any business, trade or profession (the "Operator"). Contact: douklar@hummatovic.com.
2. Nature of the website. This website is a non-commercial publication. It introduces Douklar, a personal project of the Operator, shared as open source and being prepared for public release, and publishes its documentation for internal testers. Access is free of charge. The website carries no advertising and the Operator receives no remuneration for it from any person, directly or indirectly. Nothing is offered for sale, and no contract for the supply of goods or services can be concluded through it.
3. Licences and consideration. Douklar is made available under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3 or later, free of charge. The statement on this page that a commercial licence is available on request is an invitation to make contact; it is not an offer capable of acceptance. At the date of this notice, no commercial licence has been granted, no sponsorship or donation has been accepted, and no consideration of any kind has been received in connection with Douklar or this website.
4. Value added tax. The Operator makes no supply of goods or services for consideration in connection with Douklar or this website, does not exercise a business, art or profession in respect of them, and holds no VAT number for any other activity. No operation therefore falls within the scope of value added tax (Articles 1, 3 and 5 of Presidential Decree No. 633 of 26 October 1972 and, from 1 January 2027, Legislative Decree No. 10 of 19 January 2026; Articles 2(1) and 9(1) of Council Directive 2006/112/EC), and the Operator is not required to declare the start of an activity or hold a VAT number (partita IVA) under Article 35 of Presidential Decree No. 633/1972.
5. Information society services. Because the website is provided without remuneration and does not constitute an economic activity, it is not an information society service within the meaning of Article 2(1)(a) of Legislative Decree No. 70 of 9 April 2003 and Article 2(a) of Directive 2000/31/EC, read with recital 18 of that Directive and the judgment of the Court of Justice in Case C-291/13, Papasavvas, paragraph 28. The general information duties of Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 70/2003 (including the domicile in letter (b) and the VAT number in letter (g)) therefore do not apply. The identity and contact details in this notice are given voluntarily.
6. Change of circumstances. Before receiving any consideration in connection with Douklar or this website, including a fee for a commercial licence, support or services, a sponsorship, recurring donations or advertising income, the Operator shall assess whether the activity is carried on habitually and, where it is, declare the start of the activity within the period laid down in Article 35 of Presidential Decree No. 633/1972 and publish on this page the information required by Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 70/2003. This notice will be updated before any such change takes effect.
7. Governing law. This notice is governed by Italian law.
