What it moves
Douklar moves data between AWS accounts and Regions: four services in one workflow, from connecting the accounts to the record of the finished run.
- Services
- ECR, S3, CodeCommit, DynamoDB
- Sign-in
- IAM Identity Center or access keys
- Runs on
- Your machine, with your credentials
The four services
Amazon ECR
Douklar copies the tags you select from the resolved source digest and checks that the full OCI 1.1 referrer graph arrived: indexes, SBOMs, attestations and nested referrers.
- Kind
- Container images
Amazon S3
You choose the path per run: worker relay, server-side copy, S3 Batch Operations, or local-file upload.
- Kind
- Objects
AWS CodeCommit
Douklar pushes a repository in mirror mode (the default) or in incremental ref batches, re-checks the destination right before pushing, and checks ref parity at the end.
- Kind
- Git repositories
Amazon DynamoDB
Douklar seeds an existing table with
PutItemguarded byattribute_not_exists, in empty-table-only or add-missing mode, and reports identical and conflicting items.- Kind
- Table items
Compared with AWS tools
What each AWS tool does better, and where Douklar differs.
Douklar and native ECR and S3 replication
Replication keeps a destination current with every new push or write; Douklar moves what already exists, once.
Douklar and AWS Backup
AWS Backup keeps restorable copies inside one Organization; Douklar moves selected data between accounts that may not share one.
Douklar and DataSync and S3 Batch Operations
DataSync and S3 Batch Operations move very large amounts of storage; Douklar joins S3 with images, repositories and items in one run.
